Day Supports for Individuals
In addition to their residential support, some of our clients still have a desire and need for additional support and greater access to their local communities. Day supports for Individuals (DSI) allows us to help our clients develop a greater connection with staff members and communities in a one-on-one setting.
A DSI program can last anywhere from a half hour up to six hours a day during the weekdays, supporting our clients in numerous ways. This includes various activities such as playing sports, looking for jobs, going to movies, volunteer opportunities, helping clients run personal errands, and more. Our staff is there to assist in whatever capacity our clients need when they spend this valuable time together. These opportunities are a great way for greater bonds and friendships to grow and provide outlets for greater activity and well-rounded lifestyles.
