Bryce Pearson
Owner
Bryce founded the company in April 2011. His favorite part of the job is seeing someone who has struggled throughout life come to Novum Supports where they start believing in themselves and begin living and enjoying life rather than just surviving. He finds it humbling to be part of such meaningful work and appreciates that he gets to make an impact in people’s lives. Bryce is a host parent himself, giving him meaningful hands-on experience. He loves being an entrepreneur who is helping others. In addition to his experience in the industry, Bryce has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. In his free time, Bryce enjoys spending time with his kids. His hobbies and interests include playing golf, sports, travel, and food. His mantra: never stop dreaming and learning.
Annika Madsen
CEO
Annika Madsen is CEO of the company, having started in February 2019. She has more than 10 years experience working with individuals with disabilities. She loves being an advocate for her clients, helping them realize their full potential in life. She believes clients are resilient and is grateful to learn from them. In addition to her business acumen, Annika has a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, which taught her how to utilize activity and community based interventions to improve physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and leisure needs of clients In her free time, Annika enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and hanging with her cat Stevie. She also treasures spending time with her family and tending to her plants and crystals in her zen room.
Dane Warnick
Director of Operations
Dane joined Novum Supports in August 2020. He loves getting to know new people and building relationships with each client. He enjoys that clients are all unique and have different paths that they’ve traveled during this life. He gets immense satisfaction from watching them succeed each day. Dane has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and assisted in developing our training program that helps host parents and staff find better ways to support our clients. He’s also a certified Mandt instructor which teaches prevention and de-escalation concepts to help people safely manage behavior so that everyone can be safe in their environment. In his free time, Dane enjoys spending time with his family, sports, swimming, sushi, therapy, stargazing and camping in his 1999 pop up trailer.
Dylan Plant
Field Manager
Dylan is the Field Manager at Novum Supports, having started in February 2023. He is excited to have an opportunity to enhance the lives of those we serve, and to develop his leadership skills. Dylan has a Bachelor’s degree in Business management and has experience as a job coach working with individuals with disabilities. He’s also been a host parent for Novum Supports. In his free time, Dylan enjoys playing the drums, skiing, various dance styles, chess, video games and learning new things. He always wants to be learning and becoming a better version of himself.
Matt Ely
Host Home Manager – South Program
Matt Ely is the Host Home Manager of the South Program, having started in September 2021. Matt began working with individuals with disabilities in high school as a peer tutor and support. He also has personal and professional experience working with individuals who struggle with substance use disorders and mental health disorders. He finds great joy in the friendships he’s been able to make and loves being able to help clients with tasks they struggle to do on their own. In his free time, Matt enjoys the Utah Jazz, movies, video games, the outdoors, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Steven Trujillo
Host Home Manager – North Program
Steven Trujillo is the Host Home Manager of the North Program, having started in March 2022. He has professional experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders and has done service work with individuals experiencing homelessness. He appreciates the creativity that clients allow him to have on a day-to-day basis and enjoys teaching them life skills in hopes that one day they will be able to do them on their own. In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with family, adventuring into Utah’s back country during the warmer months, and working on computers. Building his own computer to play some of his favorite games has been a personal goal since he was a young teenager.
Anya Soper
Administrative Assistant
Anya Soper is our Administrative Assistant, having started in January 2021. Her favorite part of the job is helping those who cannot advocate for themselves. She enjoys doing the tedious paperwork and financial tasks that need to be done to ensure clients receive the care they deserve. Anya has a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy. She previously worked as our host home manager and has hands-on experience working with the individuals we serve. She has a deep understanding of our clients and works to assist them with maintaining eligibility for Medicaid services, food stamps, Social Security, and more. In her free time, Anya loves to hang out with her family, travel and explore with her husband, spoil her cat, go outdoors and dance.
Casey Edison
Lead Staff
Casey has been a Lead Staff member of our team since 2014. His role is to take clients out into the community for activities they wouldn’t typically be able to do on their own. This includes things like grocery shopping and medical appointments, but it also includes planning and doing fun things like barbecues, going to the zoo, movies and more, which is his favorite part of the job. He gets to know clients well and works hard to help them have fulfilling lives. He is all about having fun and loves giving clients something to look forward to. “This job has taught me the value of teamwork,” he said. In addition to his on the job education, Casey has a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies.
